havent watched a soccer match for quite sometime now.
or rather, havent watched a manu match with my brother for ages.
it was quite interesting i guess.
typical question, "huh?! he's new?"
typical answer, "siao. where got."

i hate the weather today.

NEVER watch a movie that ends after the store closes at j8.
it's so dumb.
mummy parked the car at the opposite building.
when we wanted to get out already, the only door that was open: the door to their basement carpark.
i mean, not everyone parks their car at the carpark and not everyone drives right?

ok, it's christmas.
im so not feeling it.
same goes for last year.
ive just kinda passed the age to be in the festive mood.
but this year was just more special.
im still not in the TOTALLY psyched jolly jolly mood but i think it was still much better than the last.

i guess this is one of the reasons why i love romantic comedies.
all the endings might be the same but at least it puts me in a happy mood.
i just watched curse of the golden flower.
it was great.
but so many people ended up dying.
movies seriously affect my mood. at least for awhile.
i know im weird.

a buffet birthday party for a one-year-old girl at the american club.
goodie bags, tuperwares, balloons, huge princess cake, more tuperwares.
(my grandaunt sells tuperwares).
a lil too extravagant eyy.
ohh well. at least the food was good.
granduncle even tapaoed some turkey for us.


been thinking a lot today.

i enjoyed today.
thank god it didnt rain.
well, at least not that much.
just drizzled a lil but we're all fine. ((:
the island's were really nice, peaceful and quiet.

the first stop was kusu island.
according to py, most people come over here to offer prayers.
there was a wishing well. you had to use your coin to hit the bell before it drops into the well, then you can wish for something.
the only coin i had was a one-dollar coin.
smart me decided to give it a try.
one throw and the coin hit the sides of the well and flew off into the water.
tried a second time when i borrowed a twenty-cent coin from nana.
it went STRAIGHT in. didnt even touch the bell.
just my luck. HAHAH.

the next was st john's island.
we had a sort-of-picnic there.
basically, we just ate.
the wind was SUPER strong!
all the plastic bags were just flying away i tell you.
after that, we just went for a little walk which ended up with tng, manda, py and i briefly touching the water with our legs and all of us falling asleep and tanning at the same time eventually.
the sea was just so beautiful.
tng and i felt like jumping into the water.
but after all that ive heard about the undercurrent and stuff... forget it.

we all changed when we got back to the jetty and went off the cine to meet tat.
ate at the hongkong cafe there.
saw pris, jayne, joan and sun lu there. what a surprise!
didnt know valeron was working there until later on! he's finally found himself a job please! hahah.

after the lunch/tea/dinner/whatever you call it, we went to the e-max place to rent a dvd to watch.
not a bad price. for a total of 6 of us, it cost us 16 bucks.
but all of us had to squeeze.
not much of a problem since we were watching CRY WOLF!
nana and i were scared to death please! creepy..
ohh yeah, we took quite a few photos.

today cant get any worse.
two tuitions back to back.
all i ever wanted.
HAH.

and did i mention i went to the dentist yesterday?
she tried to make me get used to the braces by putting in those metal pieces at the top first.
and stuck some seperaters so that there would be room for the wire or whatever it is later on.
the seperaters are the ones that are killing me.
everytime i bite, it feels like ive got a tooth deacy.
now i know why she said i could take painkillers if i wanted.

i sooo cant wait till tomorrow!
tngy found out that we could take a ferry out to some island from the newspaper.
she actually reads it! im so proud of her! hahahah. ((:
hope it doesnt rain!
plus; i miss them very very much!
so, goodnight for now. i need some shut eye.

my aunt talked about a patient in her hospital today.
migrated to thailand to start another family over 20 years ago.
recently, he fell and broke his neck so now he's completely paralysed.
there was no one to foot the bills in the thai hospital cos his new family there all took off.
he was sent back to singapore instead.
now, he faces an alcoholic wife who keeps scolding him and he cant react or say anything back, 2 sons who completely refuse to acknowledge him and a daughter who is very reluctant to do anything at all.
the wife gets abusive when she gets drunk so he cant be under her care.
if there was a maid, the poor maid would have to handle a paralyzed and an abusive drunkard.
she'd most probably commit suicide! HAH.
also, son-in-law totally cant be bothered with him.
poor man. he might be wrong to leave them in the first place, but blood is still thicker than water aint it?
that leads to the question: are people getting more heartless nowadays?
what if (touch wood) one day it happens to one of the man's children and no one wants to look after them? will they regret?

my aunt suggested he be put in a nursing home instead cos he cant live in the hospital forever. imagine the bills!

im finally backkk.
well, i was on the 29th night.
however, i didnt switch on my comp till the 30th night.
BUT who was to know the stupid thing decided to crash AGAIN.
and this time it looks like it's a sure gone case.
so now im using some lousy laptop i found.

had training on friday.
at 0700. could you believe it?
i ran the whole 15 rounds thing and now my body's aching.
ive become fatter from all the eating and sleeping in new zealand.
so i shant complain bout training.

i wanna watch step up.
but it's too late now.
it'll be much later till the vcd actually releases.
